Free shipping when you spend over $100* within New Zealand and $200* Australia. 

*Please note, bulky items may be excluded from this offer. The description will outline if the product does not qualify for free shipping and we will contact you with a freight quote after you place your order.

All goods are packaged beautifully and with great care. We wrap all our items in tissue to make the parcel special for you to receive. If you require gift wrap, you can purchase the Gift Wrap item at an additional cost before you check out, with this you or intended recipient will receive a package wrapped in hand painted paper as well, we are also happy to pop in a wee note if requested. 

Orders received daily after 10am (NZDT) cannot be guaranteed same day dispatch. Orders will be sent within the shop weekday hours of 10 - 5, Tuesday - Friday

All orders are determined by their volumetric weight over their physical weight. Even though a product may weigh very little, it's volumetric weight is likely to be greater. 


 At most, your parcel should arrive within 5 working days of receipt of order. 

Deliveries take place Tuesday to Friday. Once the courier has picked up your order from Blackbird Goods, you'll be emailed a tracking number so that you can follow the journey of your parcel. 

If the incorrect freight option is selected, we will contact you by email to arrange payment of the difference.



We proudly send orders internationally. Large bulky items we quote the freight separately. Your package should arrive within 3 - 10 working days

When we have free shipping offers for our international customers, large bulky items are excluded. The description will outline if the product does not qualify for free shipping and we will contact you with a freight quote after you place your order.


We are happy to provide you with a quote to your specific country, to request a quote please email with the items and address you wish to send it to.


You can expect that items will usually arrive at their destination within the time frame specified. However NZ Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, they cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in customs, may take longer. The delivery targets listed are only a guide. This is subject to processing time and product availability - we will always advise if there is an expected delay.

Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipients country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient. These may include quarantine charges, especially for things like wood or brush ware. 

If by any chance you have not received your order with 3 weeks after you placed your order,  please contact us immediately as we will make sure we follow this up for you with our courier company and resolve any issues straight away.



Returns and Exchanges

We at BLACKBIRD GOODS value the quality of the products offered and the delivery methods used. If for any reason you are not happy please contact us immediately. If the product is faulty we will gladly replace the product. If the product is out of stock we will refund your money or offer you a credit. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods. If you change your mind, exchanging goods is at the discretion of BLACKBIRD GOODS. You will require proof of purchase to return or exchange the product. If the product has been damaged in transit, please let us know immediately and we will contact the courier company directly to sort out any claims.

Items excluded from exchanges or returns are beauty products and gift vouchers.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Blackbird Goods, 25 Dalton Street, Napier, Hawkes Bay NZ .

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
