Hypatia’s surroundings. 415AD is a new extrait de parfum inspired by Hypatia, who was the first known female Egyptian philosopher, mathematician and astronomer whom was also a Platonist.
Since her teenage years, founder and creative director of Curionoir, Tiffany Jeans has been fascinated and inspired by the story of Hypatia, who met her death on March 8th, 415AD.
“I challenged myself to create a parfum that is made of ingredients from that time.
Only using plants and resins that were found in Hypatia’s homeland and era” says Tiffany Jeans.
415AD is a green, resinous unisex extrait de parfum and candle inspired by Hypatia’s surroundings, with notes of Tomato Leaf, Grapefruit, Rosemary, Iranian Galbanum Somalian Olibanum, Agarwood, Myrrha and Benzoin.
